Shashikala Hande is an excellent doctor. She is very gentle and gives time to listen to your problem very patiently. She explains everything clearly leaving you 100% satisfied. She is very friendly and supportive.

It is my pleasure to give the review about Dr. Shashikala Hande. I was in touch with her throughout my wife’s pregnancy and delivery. She is very friendly and explains everything whether she is introducing any medicine or why any new test needed to be done or any further step needed to be taken.

My wife is an IT professional. So, my wife was looking for normal vaginal delivery as other types of delivery like caesarean or forceps delivery is coming with different types of complications. I and my wife were not confident about the normal delivery, but Dr. Shashikala has given confidence to us that if no other complication happen during the later time of pregnancy like baby position or health issues then my wife can go for normal delivery.

The day my wife admitted in hospital she was asking for caesarean delivery, but Dr. Shashikala encouraged my wife and though normal delivery is painful, but my wife was able to do it.

We have been consulting Dr.Sashikala Mam for my wife's pregnancy. Inspite of complications associated we were blessed with a little angel last month. Special mention to Dr Sashikala, she has been extremely helpful and explains the issues/risks in detail. Ours was a high risk pregnancy with central palcenta prevaia. March 1st we consulted her telling my wife had pain in lower abdomen , she did a manual check n also a vaginal swab test said nothing to worry and it's normal gas pain. She gave rantac tablets. Friday night continues pain was there for two hrs same was the case on Saturday. Sunday again pain started increasing and night my wife suffered a lot of pain she was not able to sleep a single minute . Monday morning we immediately rushed to hospital telling Dr. Sasikala that having severe pain , I had constipation also then. So Dr said we ll go in for scan. We did scan and cervix appeared normal. So Dr gave medicine for gas n constipation again. My wife was literally crying n told she had soo much pain did not sleep for minute also. She even told she had white discharge and contraction like pain.***** *** *** *** *** ** **** ** ***** ** ** ********* We came back home thinking it was all gas n constipation pain. Monday n Tuesday passed with pain. Wednesday was the bad day which we din even imagine will happen. My wife got severe pain n we had to rush to hospital immediately in the middle of night. Her pain was so severe we were not able to cloud nine n immediately we admitted her ** *** Where the Dr concluded that my wife has got labour pain and she will deliver baby in sometime. My wife was 21 weeks only then n we delivered a preterm baby the same day. ** ******* ****** ** *** * ** *** *** **** ** ******** ****** **** **** ***** ******** ******* * ***** ***** **** *** *** ****** ** **** ** **** *** * ***** **** *** ** **** **** * *** *** ***** **** ********* **** ** **** **** *********** ** *** *** **** **** * I would request everyone to be very careful while consulting the doctor.

Doctor was in too much hurry to examine me. She just checked my weight and didn't even ask me symptoms thoroughly. I have been to different Gynecologists and hence, I know that certain body symptoms are very crucial for a PCOS case. That was my 'fast' and bad experience with doctor.

Later, when I went to confirm the name of a medicine, her assistants(who appeared not at all qualified for the job. They were so clueless about everything) didn't let me in . She herself went inside and as expected, was unable to explain the name of the medicine. When I went to the medical shop, one of the medical store couldn't understand the name of the same medicine. Fortunately, one guy at another MedPlus store knew about that medicine and gave it to me. The name of the medicine was completely different to what was told to me by her assistants.

She might me good with pregnancy cases, but I didn't find her appropriate for my case.

Also, the google maps location is wrongly mentioned. When I called at clinic to inquire about its actual location, as expected they were unable to explain me.

I've consulted Dr. Shashikala for both my pregnancies. Visited her for the 1st time, just a week before my 1st delivery. 2nd visit was on the day of delivery. Though she didn't know much abt my case, she treated me well and delivered a healthy baby thru NVD. Then i consulted her regularly for my 2nd pregnancy. On the day of delivery,I rushed into hospital arnd 7 AM with strong contractions and 7 cms dilated. She reached hospital in a very short notice (30 mins to be precise). She also notified the reception and duty doctor to send me directly to labour room and check immediately. As there was no much time, I didn't go thru preps/admission process. I delivered a healthy baby within 45 mins while my husband was still carrying out the admission formalities.

Her timely response and dedication towards work, made the entire process so smooth. If it wasn't her, I would have been in trouble! Many thanks to her!

I have been a patient of Doctor Shashikala for a long time.I approached her for the first time due to difficulty in conceiving.She diagnosed endometriosis and performed the laproscopic surgery.I had no issues during the procedure and during the recovery. Doctor was extremely patient and kind , and answered all our questions satisfactorily.When my first pregnancy became ectopic she was very supportive and quick to react . Later on I did not have a second thought regarding the doctor for both my pregnancies.Now I am blessed with a daughter and son. I am extremely thankful for her support and her expertise.
