Booking appointments is easy and the doctor is always on time. There is also a nearby shop which stores all psych medicines. So the entire workflow has been awesome!

I have been following his medications for 2 months. So far, there has been lots of improvement. His calm approach has helped me calm down as well!

Anyway, my key takeaway is to visit a doctor as soon as possible so that your mental disorders don't have an adverse effect on the rest of your body.

I gave 4 instead of 5 because:

1. The price for a psychometric test during the beginning was too expensive (1500) which added no value and apparently some therapy sessions cost more, around Rs. 2600, I believe. So I backed off. A quick check on Practo reveals that most Psychiatrists in Bangalore charge between 500 - 1000 for each appointment and Dr. Kashyap charges Rs 700. So I guess the consultation charges are fair enough until we develop an auction based system!

2. I wish there was a more data oriented approach to medicine in general. I can't wait for wearables to monitor the hell out of everything and predict illnesses. the data collected in the clinic is pretty old-school (hand written questionnaires, no EMR, no SMSes are sent regarding the next appointment) and when the technology does come in, I wonder if we can load our past medical records easily into modern systems.

Overall, I'm satisfied so far.

I was Under Medication for almost 10years with a different doctor later my friend suggested me to Dr. Karthik, very helping nature helping me to come out of my anxiety and few personal problems, I strongly recommend this doctor, the medicine he gives is so perfect that it helps you in a day itself to come out of your problems, Recently a sentence by him made me to realize how important is life, i gave him a example that their are many ppl who beg and why cant they end!!!!???? and the awesome response which changed my way of thinking was "Every one have issue in life, its their choice to prioritize if they should suffer by thinking on the problem or to just Ignore and thank life that you are enjoying which many dont have" irrespective of my next consultation date when i feel low i wish i could talk to him over the phone and feel relaxed, for all the questions he has a different type of answer which helps you in coming out of your problem., rather giving many medicines "I AM VERY THANKFUL TO HIM, HE CHANGED MY COMPLETE VIEW OF LIFE AND HELPED ME TO OVER COME MANY OF MY PERSONAL PROBLEMS" Finally his moto is to make his patients depend on their own rather depending on the Medicines.

After visiting Pragnya clinic, doctor insisted me to get blood check for Thyroid and got to know that I'm suffering from Hypo thyroid due to which i was into depression. Provided me proper medication, counselling and most importantly few techniques to prevent depression forever !... My life took completely different direction after treatment. Thanks once again...
