Dr. Vishwanath S

My Dad has Multiple Myeloma. We are extremely fortunate to have him be treated by Dr. vishwanath (recommended by a specialist in MD Anderson, Houston) who has done his fellowship in Myeloma from MD. Anderson (one of the top hospitals in US). I do read a lot and have plenty of questions which Dr. Vishwanath answers very patiently. Most doctors in India would perhaps have been unhappy with my questions -- but not the good doctor. He serves as an excellent "quarterback" co-ordinating with various other doctors (Cardiologists, ENT, pulmonologists, neurologists etc). We cannot wish for a better doctor than him and i regard it as a blessing to have this young doctor treat my dad. (I am not exaggerating when i say this). He is up to date with the latest advances in Myeloma and will discuss with you about latest research - should interest the folks who have tons of questions after reading stuff on google (like me) :-). BTW, for folks with Multiple Myeloma, you need to see a doctor who has a fellowship in Myeloma (This is what is recommended through out the world). I could not find any other doctor with similar qualifications in Bangalore when I looked. I have experience with various doctors in US and regard him extremely highly for his attention to detail, patient care, etc, etc...In summary, I really cannot recommend a better doctor than Dr. Vishwanath for Myeloma patients in Bangalore. I and our family are in his debt for all the care he has provided to my dad and I can truly say from the bottom of my heart that we can never ever repay his debt.

I visited doctor Vishwanath regarding consultation of breast cancer of one of our relatives. He ****** **** ** **** ********* *was on phone calls half the time) . Just quickly went through the reports, suggested a long treatment without and didn't entertain our questions.

Dr.Vishwanath S is my mother's and aunt's oncologist, treating them both for ovarian cancer stage 4 & 3 respectively at Apollo hospitals, Bannerghatta. He makes his patient extremely comfortable, hopeful and holds a sense of humor that makes this experience less painful. ** ** ********* ************* *** shares every step in detail, putting the patient's health and healing journey first before taking any decision. My wife sharada sure was admitted to apollo bannerghatta during July 2013 for breast cancer under the supervision of dr. Bapsy and Dr vaishnavi. now under harmone therapy. Dr s vishwansth ** * **** **** ****** *** down to earth . The condition of my wife is good and is doing routine work. The nursing staff is very good. Overall I recommend this hospital.
