Dr. Vinod Chebbi

I went to Dr Vinod at my lowest. I was in an emotionally abusive marriage. I did not realise how toxic it was until I started therapy with Dr Vinod. He has been a great support throughout the separation. I’ve grown to be independent. I’m so grateful to have found him. Just thanks would not describe my gratitude to him !! I also realised how important it is to have a right therapist at wrong time !!

He is extremely good at understanding and getting to the root cause of the problems. Therapy with him has been a journey of self discovery and a window into the world I did not see before.

Back in late 2008, during a time when I was feeling depressed, helpless, and trapped in a miserable and toxic marriage, I reached out to Dr. Vinod through a helpline. After a few phone conversations, I met him in person and began counseling sessions with him. With Dr. Vinod's help, I began to feel optimistic about my future. However, my husband at the time prevented me from continuing to meet with him.

In 2012, after my marriage had deteriorated further and I had been thrown out of my house without any support, I created a new email account and contacted Dr. Vinod for counseling via email. I underwent multiple sessions of therapy with him, which helped me understand my situation and myself. As a result, I started gaining confidence, got a job as a teacher, and began rebuilding my life. Dr. Vinod played a crucial role in this transformation, and our relationship evolved from a therapist-client dynamic to that of a guide, mentor, and father figure.

Words cannot express the profound impact he has had on my life. Recently, Dr. Vinod even attended my wedding, which was an emotional and proud moment for me. I cannot thank him enough for helping me believe in myself and become the person I am today.

Me and my husband contacted Dr. Vinod Chebbi for couples counseling about 7 months ago, as we had many issues in our marital life.

The kind of transformation we went through in therapy with Dr.Chebbi is astonishing. Me and my husband had our own traumas which was tagging along with us since our childhood. Dr.Chebbi very carefully unvield our traumas and the effect it had on our marriage.

He helped us introspect and made us better people at a personal level. He then helped us apply the learnt values in our marriage too.

He is not just intelligent, but also very compassionate. Because of my trauma (which was emotional neglect in the infant stage and also sexual abuse for 15 years) our marriage had suffered many bruises. Our marriage was on the verge of a breakdown as physical violence was involved too. He recognised the problem and helped us work through it. He helped us mend our marriage which we never thought would happen.

It is not just the marriage which got mended, but we as individuals also became better. Our perspective changed and that reflected in our marriage too. It is very rare that we find people like Dr.Chebbi, the kind of insights he offers and the treatment he gives changes peoples lives for better. I couldn't thank him enough. I highly recommend reaching out to him and getting treated.

My experience has been very traumatic with this counselor. After my first session ,the therapist had send a feedback form wherein i filled out my feedback honestly wherein i did mention the things that helped me and also the things that did not help me in the session( he made statements which was inappropriate)

I assumed he was a therapist and he will be able to clarify ** * *** *********** ***

When i came for the second session the therapist was very angry and offended about the feedback i have written. And he started talking about the feedback which was completely different from what i have written. And i tried clarifying that what he is saying is not what i wrote and he was not ready to listen.

Instead he cut the conversation by saying " I am the leader and there is no empathy in couple therapy".

My husband who was there with me in the second session also said to me he is taking your feedback very personally and ****** * ********* ******* *** ** ** ***** * **** *** ********He was not ready to listen to me *** *** ****** ****** ***** *** ***** ** ** *** ** ******* ********** *** ** * ******* ******* ******

Can't thank Dr. Vinod Chebbi enough for all the guidance, support, patience and perseverance he has shown in handling our case. As a couple, we have learnt a lot from him about what marriage exactly is and how to handle marital conflicts in the best possible manner and we continue to learn more. Just like physical treatments take time, so does mental health and probably as the age old saying goes "Old habits die hard" and its very hard to change them overnight. Yet patience, perseverance, willingness to make life better and determination to make the marriage work are the only things that can take us forward towards success. It takes immense amount of patience, perseverance and dedication to repeat the same things over and over again until the patient understands and begins to implement it while helping them rise up no matter how many times they fall & Dr Chebbi has exactly all these qualities. He's extremely good *** ************* and is very professional, sensitive and caring in the way he handles the case. We struggled initially to find the right counselor but we are extremely happy we finally did find the right one. Will always be eternally grateful to the doc for all his help, support and guidance.

I'd like to thank Dr. Chebbi for his wonderful guidance and support. I found his presence and approach very calming, methodical and empowering. I had reached out to him for guidance on handling my marital issues as well as better self awareness and dealing with my emotional struggles. He clearly explained the therapy process and took great effort and adequate time to make sure I felt completely comfortable and connected. He has helped me develop a healthier perspective on my situation as well as my self and has guided me to recognize and accept my emotions, thought and behavior. I am deeply grateful for his help in dealing with a particularly difficult phase of my life, and hope others who may be in need of help will also reach out to him.

First and foremost I would want to thank Dr Vinod Chebbi for his valuable time and patience with us. The 1st time I had been yesterday (30th January 2019), was a very good conversation between me and the doctor. Whatever I was not aware of my life, he made me realize that little. But still I need to have 2-3 visits, to clear all the negativity in my mind about the situation and condition of my life and family. Now it's still in confusion and I'm with low confidence as to think and take decisions about my life for my future also I'm in depression and I get continuously negative thinking and thoughts where I go to frustration. When I go for another 2 sittings, I may gain my confidence slowly. But I also request Dr. Vinod Chebbi to talk to my husband as well, once and make him to realize where he has gone wrong, and also he (my husband) should realize my value and my importance in life as his wife, then only it's possible to lead a better life.
