The hospital sees over 600 new oncology and 250 new hematology cases each year. I have been trained to independently manage cases including emergencies and complications. A well-established Thalassemia daycare and hemophilia services are an essential part of this division.
At St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, I was appointed as a consultant in August 2018. I have continued to put my hematology oncology training into clinical practice. We have nurse practitioners dedicated exclusively to the care of these children and regular multi-disciplinary tumor board meetings help optimize care for these patients. I have participated in National and International conferences. We also involve in National Clinical trials (InPOG – Indian Pediatric Oncology Group).
