I went to her with a lot of apprehension of the effectiveness of psychology treatments. she patiently listened to everything and asked questions for clarifications. she even explained to me what was the intention of the questions she asked. I was at a very low point, anxiety wise and was extremely apprehensive of taking any medicines. she listened through my concerns and gave me the option of going for no medicines or mild medicines. With hesitation I went for the mild medicines option and I could stop the medicines in 3 months with her advice.I have consulted her a few times afterwards also and she could clearly mention that medicines are not needed in such cases and which aspects are part of someone's personality and which aspects need treatment. She recommended that I opt for therapy after a point and mentioned everything seems fine psychiatry wise. Long story short, she is an extremely reliable doctor and I recommend her to anyone who might be benefited.

Dr Vijayalakshmi has been great. She seems to have a wealth of experience and was able to understand what the problem is by merely scratching the surface.
