Later, she taught Graduate Prosthetic Dentistry for a year prior to venturing out on her own into private practice. Having set up a hospital-based practice at a reputed Trauma Centre (Hosmat) in Bangalore in 1995, Dr. Vijai has since, gone on to establish two independent offices in different parts of the city over the last 13 years.
Her keen and persistent aptitude for restorative dentistry saw her pursuing a plethora of workshops and courses to hone her skills continuously in these niche areas.
Dr. Vijai successfully credentialed in the field of dental implants by completing the 300-hour Maxi Course® of the AAID (American Academy for Implant Dentistry) and the 240-hour Implant Residency of the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).
She is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and a Diplomate of the ICOI as well. She is a member of good standing of both, the AAID and the ICOI as well as the IAO (Indian Academy for Osseointegration) and ISOI (Indian Society of Oral Implantologists).
