I'm satisfied with the doctor 100%

The medical field is often a slippery slope to tackle with some doctors who are trigger happy and quick to recommend surgery. Dr. Vidya Desai is a beacon of comforting light amidst the chaos. I went to the doctor for acute pelvic pain. I gave her a recent CT scan, which had reported a 5 cm Hemmorhagic cyst and a more recent ultra sound report that reported that the Cyst has ruptured and gone away. However, my chronic pelvic pain continued to linger. Since I had been suffering from pelvic pain for 9 months, the doctor was extremely patient, open minded and non judgemental in listening to all my symptoms as she took detailed notes. Many women in India would agree that to find a non judgemental, open minded gynaecologist in India who doesn’t shudder at the words “Pre-marital sex” is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Doctor Vidya is modern and in with the times. She carefully examined me and concluded that my pelvic pain may not even be a gynac issue. On the other hand, other gynacs upon hearing my symptoms were quick to suggest laproscopy. I liked Doctor Vidya’s approach as she said that surgeries are the last resort. Her optimism was very calming. Doctor Vidya also recommended that I Whatsapp her the reports and don’t see her unless highly necessary thereby saving me the time, effort and money of an in person appointment. I would highly recommend Doctor Vidya ** *** ** *** **** ****** *** *** ************

Dr Vidya Desai is sooo to the point and so perfect with her comments and crystal clear in her approach that it gives the patient a lot of confidence and belief. She does not expect regular visits , and calls u back only if needed. Highly recommend her for both pregnancy and gynaec related problems

1. I got an appointment online and paid 1000 rupees for 15 mins. I thought the appointment was for 30 mins nevertheless I had so many questions but she started rushing me at 13 mins past repeatedly saying your time will be up in 2 mins. This 13 mins included her telling us that her son lived in the US also and attending to her house maid. **** ****** ** ******* **** **** **** * *** *** ** * ******* *** * ** *** **********

2. Especial people who are ‘maybe pregnant’ for the first time have novice questions and many of them. If u as a doctor will not guide them properly in the beginning itself, how will they feel comfortable and how will they trust you with our bodies in the future. Think!! So be nice and warm and patient!

3. When contacted again on whatsapp to clarify some stuff she mentioned in the prescription (which was sent much later to me), I received half hearted answer and then I was ignored.

4. The following day we msgd her again asking the same thing and didn’t receive a response all day and finally I followed up again and past 7 pm she replied back saying call me. When I called her and asked her the same question, she was rude and said I’m in a meeting!! But I had more questions ???? And you just asked us to call you 30 seconds ago. ??? What Am I missing here???

5. My humble request to doctors who we applaud for saving lives and giving birth to new ones is, that’s do it for the money, *** ***** ****** ****** * ***** ***** **** *** **** Hope my review helps another would be mother who doesn’t need this negativity at a time like this.

I was consulting Dr.Vidya Desai Mohan for my pcos problem before my pregnancy. Her guidence was so good that I got pregnant within 3months. I continued with her throughout my pregnancy, but started sending me for the scanning in last two months to Dr.Sailaja Vallaballeni, fetal medicine in Cloudnine, Old airport road .She use to give the scanning report as baby is small and underweight. My due date was on 25 January, 2016. I went for last pregnancy scan on 23January, 2016, where she again gave the report as underweight baby.So, with this scanning report, I consulted Vidya desai, where she decided to do a C-section on 25 Jan, reason she gave was, "baby is too small, and will be unable to push in normal delivery". The way Dr. Vidya responded on last day was disappointing. Unconvinced with the response went for a second opinion by getting another scan done on same day but this time in a different center and consulted Dr.Shailaja babu, Sampoorna clinic, in bank colony, katriguppe. She said, it is very much possible for normal delivery looking at the report. So, I got admitted in Sagar Chandramma, VVPuram. Induced on 25 January for normal delivery procedure. My daughter was 2.92kgs when born much to the delight and happiness of everyone in family.

I pretty much knew that it's gonna be great, as my friend told me about the doctor. But it was far much better than what I expected. I felt relieved, soothed and at peace. Only listening to her was a healing experience. I am grateful for the help and support, looking forward to seeing her more often. Thank you.

Dr. Desai was very patient and focused completely on my issues. She gave me information that was required as well offered different options / potential solutions for my treatment.The tests she has prescribed are minimal and necessary. She made me feel very comfortable during my consultation with her. She is easy to talk to *** **** **************

Bad experience throughout. She gives very less time for checkups, is too direct and displays no sympathy. Always quite busy on her phone calls. **** ******** **** *** ********** ******* ****** ************** Has a network of Ultrasound doctors who do her bidding.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. I went with problem and she dint even heard fully and was in hurry to see next patient. She dint see my reports. She was waiting to see next patient while I was discussing about my problem. I will strongly recommend not to go to this doctor. She is just hungry for money. As far rating is concerned I will give her negative but there is no option here.

She has no courtesy and time to talk to patients. After waiting for 30-40 mins, when you meet her she is always on her phone and asked us to hurry up with our queries. She was not able to create any doctor-patient relationship, it seems that money is her major interest.

I will recommend not to visit her. They will be definitely better doctors that her.
