Dr. Vandana Rao

Dr Vandana Rao is a godsend for us in its true sense. Our son is 3.5 years and we have been visiting her a little over 3 years now regularly. Her problem diagnosis is exemplary while at the same time she gives a patient hearing to the flurry of questions from anxious and often overly concerned parents. Needless to say, she counsels worried parents allowing them to regain composure. Her consultation covers a wide spectra - not limited to the core illness but to dietary, psychological and behavioural aspects of the child as well. Every visit to her clinic reinforces faith in her and dispels any fear as to what would happen to our kid in case of an emergency.

On a lighter note, our son always enjoys his visit to her clinic and half of his problem is addressed by the doctor's friendly demeanour. The distinctive purple coloured toy parrot and the starts she awards to the kids post consultation have earned her the title of 'my favourite doctor' for our son.

We had consulted Dr Vandana when our little one was down with fever. Very good doctor who handled the entire situation step by step without prescribing unnecessary medicines. She has immense patience in explaining the cause and treatment.

When our baby was finally diagnosed with UTI she gave us clear guidance and was always available whenever we needed her (even on sunday). We cant even recollect how many times we would have visited her for the follow ups but she has never charged us unnecessarily. MAM THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH FOR BEING THERE!!!Really doctors like you are very rare.

Other good things in her clinic

They sell home made ragi sari which is very good and my young one relishes it every day.

She is good. But fees is a little high. My 8 months baby is suffering from diarrhea. Last week when I visited her, she diagnosed it as bacterial infection and prescribed antibiotics for 5 days. But sad part is even after giving recommended dosage my baby has not recovered even 10% :( She had assured me that my baby would almost recover in 2 days.

Today will visit her again. I dint find any fault in doctor. Went to this doctor after reading Practo reviews. But still in confusion whether I am going to right doctor as my baby is still suffering. Hopefully I get the answer today and my baby becomes fit...

We are meeting Doctor for the past 6 years, every time we visit doctor we feel like "Ok, now my daughter is gonna be fine". The diet which was given by doctor helped my kid to improve her immune system and we rarely visited doctor after that for any issues like cold, cough and fever etc except for vaccinations.

if we visit doctor for any disease, she first explains us what are the possible root causes for the disease, how should we avoid in future, if we neglect what could happen and prescribes the medication only need basis unlike other doctors who just write medication in tons.

she's one in a million ..when I frst visited her ,I was very happy dat I was at the right place.she patiently hears all our doubts n answers all our questions no matter how silly it is at times .she has always been there for us.as a new parent we use to get worried very quick but she use to calm us down n gave us guidance from her food to medicine...she's really an incredible dctr ..I would recommend u all to go to her .she has answer for everything..very very experienced dctr .thank you fr being dr ...mam ..

My appointment started with delay but for that doc did apologise . That was a gud gesture . We hv just shifted to bangalore from delhi so i was having so many apprehensions regarding new doc n treatment for my 3 yr old daughter. But i m really glad i found her thru practo . She was so patient and listened to every single word of mine . She dint prescribe any unnecessary medicine and was very very friendly. She examined her properly and asked for all possible illness related details. I am totally satisfied and will surely recommend her.

Doctor Vandana is very good. She prescribes medicines which are only on need basis. My kid respond faster to the medicines prescribed by doctor. She is very patient to hear our worries related to kid over all development including weight gain. Her advises really help us to understand the growth priorities in our kid.

Very friendly DR, visiting from last 4 months, we recently shifted to BLR, my first priority was finding good DR for my kids, I am happy that we found DR Vandana Rao, she has so many years of experience and does a detailed check up of the child , never rushup. She makes us comfortable and the child comfortable too. Listens patiently and answer every question in detail.I would definitely recommend her 👍
