Patient is my wife Smt Shalini Rao aged 65 yrs. Post slipped fall on floor granite outside our bathroom, she had twisted wrist with unbearable pain on 09th December 2022. We landed in Jayanagar Orthopedic Center on recommendations from many of our neighboring residents. X Ray confirmed multiple fracture of Ulna and Carpal bones at her wrist. Anesthesia, Setting in minor OT, bandage, medicines with medical advice followed and in three hours, we were back at home. Now, after a lapse of nine weeks she has acquired 75% of her degrees of freedom of her wrist, with periodical consultations, corrections for aberrations, advice on exercises, medical prescriptions and nutritionist's care too.

Any corporate hospital would have advised admission, surgery and physiotherapy billing above a lakh. JOC and doctors there charge only per visit basis and the total expenditure for my wife's treatment is less than fifteen thousand ! X Ray, pharmacy, physiotherapy, OT, specialists, single window reception, access to ambulance, etiquettes of staff, benevolence of Dr Sunil Kumar, competence of Dr Sachin Gowda, empathy of Dr Varshini Gowda, all orthopedists and ingenuity of Dr Pawan Chowdery, to call super specialists in case of accidents or requirements clubbed with trick in the hands of Sri Basavaraj made me hear many patients saying Vaidyo Narayano Hari. I was a senior Defence Officer and have seen very many hospitals, domestic and international but this JOC of Dr Sunil Kumar is one where Sushrutha rules over Laxmi !
