Very Friendly and ComposedDr. Sommanna is a highly experienced and composed doctor who understands not only the problem but also the psychology of the patient. This is extremely important for most people when dealing with sensitive areas/issues related to the urology side. I had developed balanoposthitis (due to poor hygiene) which led to penile foreskin inflammation wrapping around the penile glan like a belt (and yes it is as scary as it sounds, especially the way your penis looks). Since I didn't understand the nature of the issue, i felt very scared and uncomfortable (fearing it could be some form of cancer). But after visiting the doctor, he said it was quite common among uncircumcised males (mostly due to bad hygiene and tight foreskin). He asked the right questions and suggested I undergo circumcision (since i have had tight foreskin issues for sometime now). But first he performed a small procedure on me to reduce and revert the inflammation post which i had my circumcision under General Anaesthesia.

I had accidentally found PUJ obstruction and consulted Sir for the same. I had gone through surgery. Doctor is the best you can get around. He cares for the patient very dearly and he is very much friendly. God's Man i would say. Hard to get Human like Sir nowadays . Thank you very much Sir. Thank you.

After my persistent consultations and initial treatments, I was suggested for surgery and that was conducted by Dr. Somanna. He has guided me very well with needful advice and frequent information. The results were also satisfactory.

I had went for Kidney stone removal, its around 14MM.. ******* ***** ********** he has suggested RIRS ***** *** ********* * * however first time they had just kept stent stating urinary pipe is lean *** **** **** *** ******* *** *** next month again we went for RIRS *** **** and mentioned kidney stone is all broken. After a month, when I did the ultrasound found its just broken in to two pieces (7MM and 4MM) and some tiny partials. Again he has suggested elective wave treatment, after 4 sessions also still have 4MM stone and he left as it is. All false commitment and completing the task on time. We went to get treatment for kidney stone which was in ureter, Dr somanna suggested us RIRS SURGERY and it costed around 1.2 lack , he did the surgery, *** ** ***** *** ****** *** ***** *********** he removed nearly 4 to 5 mm stone out of 10 mm stone, he left 5 mm stone in ureter itself. When we again went after a month when we did ultrasound scan we came to know that the stone completely not took off , and for this again costed 25 k , doctor again suggested the same surgery for 50000 , ** ***** **** **** ******* ******* **** **** **** we left him on that day ,* ***** ** ** *** **** ******* ****** * ** ** ***** ** ******* ******* **** **** *** ** **** *** ******* ** *** **** ** ** ************* ****** *******

He immediately recommended for a surgery *** ****** ** ** telling that it should be performed at the earliest and did not explain anything regarding the surgery or it's side effects, but just proceeded with it. we had consulted the doctor for the treatment of kidney stone for my mother. It was a real good experience with the doctor. He had explained the problems on detail and the treatment had gone well.

Friendly doctor and explained the problem in detail before recommending any medication. Not prescribing unnecessary drugs.

A review session would have worked better I guess. Only issue I have gone through was delayed consultation. The doctor was unavailable at the cabin during my schedule and I waited nearly 45 minutes for his arrival.
