Finally penning down my long pending review of Dr Siri Vani since my first visit to her 11 months ago -- my little one is 5 weeks old today! I cannot even begin to express how very grateful I am to Dr Siri for being with me throughout my pregnancy journey right from planning/wanting to conceive and start a family to delivering my baby followed by postnatal care. She has been the perfect amalgamation of being extremely warm, friendly, accomodating, understanding, kind, patient, dedicated, prompt, professional and efficient in her work.I first came across her profile randomly on Practo while I was looking up gynaecologists and decided to go ahead with her basis good user reviews and I wasn't disappointed!! Right from day one, Dr Siri has always been very approachable and available via calls and text messages at any time of the day. She is super prompt in her replies on WhatsApp. She explains everything in detail and puts you at ease when things don't go as planned. Every doctor's visit I used to have a never ending list of pregnancy related queries and concerns and Dr Siri always addressed them with a lot of patience, reasoning, and clarity.  Having struggled with gestational diabetes and other minor setbacks during my pregnancy, doctor always ensured that both me and my baby were safe and were at minimal risk only through limited and necessary tests which were really required. I have lost count of the multiple breakdowns I've had in front of her...at times due to pregnancy stress and at times due to raging pregnancy hormones, and every single time Dr Siri was able to calm me down and comfort me and offer workable solutions. The constant smile on her face and her cheerful attitude really made a difference and helped when the going got tough.My delivery was a breeze under her able expertise and I was over the moon when my wish came true of having a safe and normal delivery in just a couple of hours. She even very sweetly went the extra mile to humour me during my contractions when I was in labor to help distract from the excruciating pain!! When I was dilating at a really rapid pace right before I delivered in the very early hours of the morning, on being intimated, Dr Siri immediately reached the hospital in no time to attend to me. Post my delivery too, she has been absolutely thorough and safe with my postnatal care. I found a blessing selecting Dr Siri as my gynaecologist and I will always be eternally thankful to her for my bundle of joy! I strongly recommend her able and experienced hands to all expecting women for a smooth pregnancy journey and ultimately a safe delivery.

We initially went to Dr Siri Vani for pregnancy counseling having tried for about ~10 months and she won us over then and there by not only patiently listening to us but also by not prescribing any unnecessary tests. Anyone who has been through that phase would understand how mentally challenging those times can be and having a doctor who is comforting and at the same time honest with you is the best thing that can happen to you. Dr Siri Vani counseled us in her own sincere and yet comforting manner. So, when we actually got pregnant, about a month from then, going back to her as our Gynaec was a no-brainer.

She was the same patient and caring herself throughout our 9-month journey. And even now is in touch with us, complimenting me on WhatsApp about how beautiful our daughter is. During our time with her, we found her methodical, sincere and very competent. She would always listen to us patiently and ensured that all our questions were answered. And wherever possible, she would ask us to rely on vegetables/fruits and other daily food items for nutrition instead of prescribing a pill for everything.

The best thing we liked about her was that she made it a point to never scare us, no matter the situation. Like in my third trimester, when my blood sugar level increased, she explained to us that we need to be sincere about keeping the blood sugar level within control. And went on to very methodically prescribe the required tests and diet plans but never once did she scare us with ‘oh, if it goes too high, this could happen or that could happen..’. Not once. She kept me stress free all along while still ensuring that I realized what I needed to do.

I never thought I would ever say this about any doctor but she is the kind of doctor I looked forward to visiting to. A very caring attitude and always a smile on her face. I would say she is now as much of a friend to me as she is my doctor.

Thanks to her, we had a seamless delivery back in June this year. I couldn’t have chosen a better doctor.

I would recommend her to anyone(as I already have) in a heartbeat.

During pregnancy its very important that the doctor listen to your issues / concerns even if they are minor / small and clear all your confusions and give you the right advise.
