Experience with Dr was good. But the hospital had the most unhygienic environment. I believe Pediatrician should not be mixed with general physicians patients. Very much congested. It is like people sneeze on your face. Very much suffocated.Coming to the appointment, I have booked appointment at 1940, was standing in bill counter since 1925. People at the Bill counter work at a snail pace. They attend calls for phone booking, they take personal calls and what not. Finally, I have met the Dr at 2035. What is the use of taking an appointment?Very much disappointed with the hospital.

Dr Shivkumar has been our baby's Pediatrician since she was born in Sakra. We have always found him to be kind, very approachable, open to questions/clarifications, gives very practical pointers at different stages of the baby's growth and development milestones. Have referred him to multiple friends and everyone found him equally or even more helpful. His schedule is usually packed but that's only because a lot more parents flock towards him.

My little one recently completed 6 months so we visited doctor Shivakumar for General checkup and diet advice. He was very patient in explaining the necessary measures to be taken
and how to go about baby diet. He answered all queries patiently. Would definitely recommend him .

My New born baby was diagnosed with jaundice on 3rd day after delivery...we got discharged from a renowned hospital however the pediatrician there did not advice anything on jaundice. As new parents we were concerned so we checked with couple of people for a pediatrician nearby and got dr. Sambargi's reference.my 5 day old baby was checked thoroughly by him...he advised the treatment and also explained in detail about nutrition and well being of new born as well as me(new mother). He spent close to 15-20mins talking and explaining things.
You will hardly find such doctor these days.

Doctor advise might be correct but not conviencing for me. I am planning to consult with some other hospital or doctor. Reason is that I came to Sakra for some issue which looks related to skin cancer. Doctor told that it is not a skin cancer but i am not conviences by the way he has delivered his decision. Aldo he had not written specifically on the prescriptikn. On prescription doc has written that consulation is for vaccination. I don't want to take the risk so will plan to consult with so e other doc. I know this feedbak does not mattet for Sakra, still thought of writing if it can be help to some other kid. Thanks.

I would like to strongly recommend Dr Shivkumar, he has lot of patience and listens to our problems and calmly answers them and never scares us.
We had a very bad experience with a local Dr who diagnosed my child with acute asthma and put my child on steroids and nebulization and even though his pulse rate was normal she send us to the nearby hospital to nebulize with oxygen..upon that she started scaring us with like you will have to hospitalize your child .
This is when we met Dr Shivkumar and he guided us in a right way..he said the child is only having allergic cold and absolutely no wheezing and from that day I have never nebulized my child for asthma..though he keeps getting allergic cold .also he never prescribe s the medicine unnecessarily.
