My wife, Indira(65) was suffering from some complex health issues, including hearing discomfort, some hearing loss, Lichen planus(oral cavity) for about a year. She was seen by doctors in New York, then in Chennai, then tried Ayurvedic treatment with reputed clinic in Chennai...but suffering did not slow down. It was April 2022 when we were visiting Bangalore. It was a chance meeting with Dr. Shalina, who heard my wife's story and asked to see her at her chamber at the Manipal Hospitals. On 26th April 2022, we visited her. Dr. Shalina carried out some investigations and offered Indira very simple solutions including limited medications.

I visited Dr. Salina Ray a month back due to a severe and painful inflammation due to bacterial infection around my neck lymph node. Naturally I was stressed since I had heavy doses of antibiotics the infection had only but increased. The most comforting factor when you meet Dr. Salina is the comforting demeanor with which she treats a patient. She has a keen eye for details and patiently hears you out. We had decided upon a surgery to cure the infection and she helped me at lot for admission formalities, pre-surgery test. Her careful steps while treating me ensured she was always in control and never was any unnecessary course correction required during the treatment. The best part of Dr. Salina is her excellent knowledge and judicious weighing of options before taking any steps towards a surgery or suggesting a diagnosis test. I took my mom to this doctor for earache. She was very rude to my mom from the beginning. She has cleaned her ear and it was immensely painful. She kept saying that my mom was continuously moving, while she was wincing in pain, without the slightest consideration for her pain. She mentioned some fungal infection and the treatment given was antibiotics. Not only the doctor, her entire staff was rude.
