I would like to start off by thanking Dr Manoli for her patience and all the help she offered during my recovery process.
I am an alcoholic for the past 15 years. I sought Dr Manoli's help about 6 months ago when my life experiences began to spiral down. I work in Enterprise IT Sales and alcohol is the de-facto lifestyle quotient, be it for client meetings, or to recover from a bad day at work or even to celebrate our wins and down our sorrows. Slowly i was getting dragged down the spiral as i was drinking myself to sleep everyday.. and was not able to offer any support to my family by being there for them emotionally..
Since the time i have met with Dr Manoli i have been sober for over a month wherein earlier my best was between 3-5 days, at a stretch. Now i have gone from a sel-fish prick to a caring father and a doting husband, also a responsible son for my parents. I am able to control my drinking habit and be present for all those that love and care for me.
Essentially i was able to attend to things that matter most whilst also restoring a much needed balance in my life.
For all those out here complaining about wait times, i would like to remind you of the old adage "Good things come to those who wait". At-least that's been the case in my experience.. Also you don't go see a psychiatrist for stomach ache which can be cured overnight.. these things take time..
Key takeaway being, have a little patience and i assure you, you will get all the help you need.
Wishing you all a speedy recovery!!
And lastly "Thank you Dr Manoli!!"
I would say that i have been very lucky to reach doctor sarika for my treatment. I have been visiting doctor Sarika for 2 years now and i must say i have improved a lot. Thanks a lot doctor for that. Only thing to consider while visiting the doctor is waiting time which is unexpected. I do not blame doctor for this as time taken by patient is not fixed and varies depending on individual case. She takes very keen interest in each case and even spends more than an hour sometimes if required. I personally have no issues with that as same thing goes for me as well.
I would like to add that i had also visited some big names around for my treatment but i would highly recommend Dr Sarika. I do not want to put my all painful experiences from other doctors but one of the experience which never gets off my mind is that a doctor which just spares u 5 minutes for 1000 Rs and even charge u another 1000 if you want to discuss more. And even after consulting that doctor for 6 months when u Didn improve at all if you enquire the doctor he gets angry and says things i cannot put here.
In short, i strongly recommend Dr sarika as i found her genuine, does not prescribe unnecessary medicines and makes every effort to cure the patient.
Went for a family member's consultation. Extremely frustrating and dissapointing behaviour. The doctor does not have any respect for others time. The staff doesnt have any clue about her whareabouts either. For the first visit, I had to wait for more than an hour..she seemed to be in a hurry when I was talking about the patient..constant disruptions by answering her mobile and then a recommendation to come back. The second trip was worse. She might be a good doctor but didnt get an opportunity to comment on her skill.
Our experience in doctor's Sai neuropsychiatry clinic was below average and frustrating.
We felt that our 3 year old son was a little slow in learning things and consulted the doctor to know what we can to do make things better.
Doctor suggested to get our son evaluated and took us through a questionnaire on 21st September. It's 18th October today; despite of calling the clinic multiple times we are still waiting for their evaluation report to be given to us.
When we asked them that once you hand us the report will there be any followup session to discuss the report they told us to book another appointment for that.
I find their behavior extremely ******** *** unprofessional towards their patients.
I would not recommend anybody to go to this clinic.
I admire her and respect her because if I am still alive she's the reason. I was about to commit suicide and put a message to her @2am in the night and she called back trying to convince me that the solution is not suicide and you don't need the courage to do that. She dragged the call deliberately so that I should come out that momentary panic attack.finally I went on to bed as I realised that more than me there are others praying for me everyday like my mother and father. I never thought what will happen to them if I do that and my mother may not come out that trauma and I will kill her along with me.Thanks doctor and will always remember that night and helping me to come out that madness.
I have bipolar and depression, most of the doctor in Bangalore couldn’t able to find out but she came to know within 15-20 minutes of counselling. I am taking the tablets almost past 3 year and now I don’t have any problem. She had given enough time to understand my problems not like others doctor who will give you the medicine without listening your problems. She had given the proper counselling which help me to come out of the depression. She is always preparing the notes from first day till now which help her to remember everything about patient after referring it and you needn’t to explain it again. I referred two of my friends and both had given the positive feedback about her. Hence I think for Nero problem, she is really expert and I recommend others to consult with her.
Extremely patient to listen to what the patient has to say, and makes me feel really comfortable to open up about anything. I've visited multiple psychiatrists/psychologists over two years, in different cities. She is the only one I could stick to, and I regularly consult her even today, when I'm not in Bangalore. I have been extremely happy with the treatment. She has listened to all the experiences I had to talk about, asked relavant questions when required and rightly diagnosed things. Helped me even with letting me know what steps my parents should take, to understand the whole thing and deal with it. In short, everything I could ask for.
Found her after meeting two different counsellors elsewhere and feeling unsatisfied.
The doctor is patient, is able to gain your trust, and is able to find root causes. Very happy with the experience, and i refer people to her all the time.
While you are meeting her, she is giving the right amount of time based on your needs. This results in you having to wait a bit to meet her though. 1 hour waiting period from the scheduled appointment time is normal. So I always call the front desk to decide actual visiting time. I have been to doctors who keep time. Its better to wait rather than having a rushed visit that feels incomplete.
I am a self-employed musician. I really don't bother to read the reviews before going to a movie, restaurant or before visiting a Doctor. I mean, creative people really don't care what others say or think. They normally go and experience themselves and decide whether it was good or not.
But last week, I happened to read some negative reviews and the Dr's reply, which convinced me that this Dr is no ordinary one.
All I want to write about Dr. Sarika after meeting her is, she knows her job really well. I trust her. I know how it is because I used to be the patient of two very famous Dr.'s. One in Bangalore and one in Cochin.
Yes, I did wait for two hours to meet her. But it was worth it. Psychiatry clinic is different than the other medical department or wings. It is no Mc Donalds or fast food joint per se. A Dr. will have to spend lots of time with a new patient. Follow up is different. Seeing the number of patients waiting to see her at 9:00 pm, I am pretty convinced that she really don't
any reviews or feedback to prove how good she is... God bless!
