Dr. Santosh Chandy

She's an amazing doctor. I recommend her to everyone who asks me.

I see sometimes the wait time is more, but I don't mind waiting to see her because she would be attending some emergency. Obviously, if I would be in an emergency I would want her to be there with me.

When I messaged her about my stomach ache at 7th month, she asked me to see the duty doctor. When I din't go to hospital, next day she called me and strictly told to see the duty doctor. I was not aware of the complications which could happen in some cases and after I met her on my next visit, she explained about it. She's really concerned and worried about her patients.

You can count on her to be available during labour, she was there through out the night for my delivery.

I had taken pregnancy care and delivery under her. She seems to be an expert in her job and knows what is to be done . She advises neither to be over cautious nor negligent during your pregnancy. A very capable doctor.

Aster did not have any record of my appointment booking through Practo. I had to wait from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm (2 hours from the appointment time)

Very rude, impatient and annoying. A pregnant woman can experience high BP in consulting her. Once, my wife had fever and tooth ache during her first trimester, and messaged her, her response was "the hospital is always there". Whenever we go for consultation after she asks us to take a scan or test, *** ***** *** **** **** *** ****** ********** Also , each time you go to consult her, we need to explain our entire history for about 10 mins of our consultation time because she already forgot your case. And another incident where an appointment was scheduled for my wife and when we reached the hospital and tried contacting her, in a very condescending tone tells my wife that she is with a patient and she cant attend my wife and cuts the call. Considering the sequence of bad events, we've stopped going to Aster hospital and would strongly advise other patients from consulting her.

I ve been very happy with Dr Santosh Chandy. I consulted with her through my first pregnancy. Found her to be sensible, quite friendly and learned to trust her instincts through the pregnancy term. She doesnt take unnecessary risks and sometimes foresees problems before they happen. She also always takes the time to talk to the patient and explain things well.
