Once again, practo has helped me find a top notch doctor right in front of my door. Once again proves my belief that practo reviews are one of the most genuine unbiased reviews one can find online unlike paid reviews that we find so often.

Coming to my issue:

I had a scaling session gone very bad in another nearby dental clinic couple of months back and had developed tooth sensitivity and tooth discoloration, both previously non existent.To add, I started using a medicated mouthwash without a prescription and my tooth turned completely yellowish.

When I booked appointment with doctor sanghamitra, I was seriously contemplating teeth whitening bleaching etc.Like all the reviewers experienced, doctor was very warm and welcoming. She patiently listened to my problems and suggested that since i had my previous scaling done only couple of months back, it would not be proper to do another one with my newly developed tooth sensitivity.She also discouraged bleaching or other whitening techniques unless it was some special occasion as it involved chemicals. She did polishing and manual scaling for abou 30 minutes and to my absolute surprise, my tooth where back to their natural color or even whiter.The polishing and scaling themselves were one of the most gentle experiences that I had with a dentist, with me hardly even feeling the process. And with my horror experience couple of months back, this is what i consider the gold standard.

And to top off, when I went for the bill payment, doctor informed that since they did not have a service called tooth polishing, she was charging me only for the consultation, ie, Rs.200! Now that kind of ethics is hard to be seen in today's world be it any walk of life.

The clinic is a small but well maintained establishment with all required equipment. Located on top of mc donalds outlet near ramamoorthy nagar signal, parking might be a concern if you come in a four wheeler. But that should not be a deterrent if you want the services of one of the best dentists.

This is by far the best Dental clinic I have been to. Dr Sangamitra is very Gentle & Professional.
