Visited For Root Canal Treatment (RCT)
I do not recommend the doctor
Hoped for better: Treatment satisfaction
I am writing this review after 1 year of undergoing RCT at Dr Sangeetha's clinic. I visited the doctor in Nov 2017 for pain while chewing and had to undergo RCT. After RCT, crown/cap had to be fitted on the treated tooth and that's where my misery started.
I decided for Zirconia cap, which needed to be sent back and forth three times to their partner lab in order for the fit to be correct. This itself took around a month before I could chew properly using both sides. This arrangement mostly worked fine for a few months except that gaps occurred against both adjacent teeth causing lot of food to get stuck. I visited again and Dr was courteous enough to agree for recapping it.
But once the older cap was removed and impressions were taken, again I had to go through same painful process. Despite claiming to be using "CAD" technology, their lab couldn't get the crown to be correctly made. After three crowns that didn't fit (including one that came off just a couple of days later), finally one did stick in my mouth. But for how long? Just over 4.5 months! It has come off again while having dinner. This is extremely annoying. Even after spending 13K on the Zirconia cap, this thing couldn't be sorted out .
I am not at all satisfied as far as treatment is concerned. Only good thing about this clinic is that they try their best to help the patient as I mentioned above but I doubt if that is good enough given what they charge.
