Dr. S S Vasan has Completed his undergraduate study in Medicine from the prestigious St John’s Medical College & Hospital,Bangalore. Post his MBBS, he did his Post-Graduation in Surgery and Post-Graduation in Urology from the Diplomate of National Board (DNB). He did his fellowship in Andrology in Singapore. He is the first qualified Andrologist in India. Post his medical degree from St Johns Medical College, Bangalore in 1981 and training in General Surgery from Madras Medical College in 1986, he underwent training in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Genitourinary Surgery.He completed a specialization in Genitourinary Surgery in 1993.He has worked in premier hospitals in the Country and overseas. He has worked in St John’s Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, Changi General Hospital, Singapore, to name a few. He did a brief stint in City Hospital, Nottingham, UK. During his stint in St John’s Medical College & Hospital in the Department of Urology & Renal Transplantation he set up the Department of Urodynamics.Over the years he developed a keen interest in Andrology and Incontinence and continued it during his stint at Changi General Hospital, Singapore. He was a member of Society for Continence, Singapore and was deeply engaged in its activities to raise awareness of incontinence.Dr. Vasan set up India’s first state of the art Andrology and Men’s Health treatment Centre in 2002 in Bangalore. Since then over the years he has introduced several cutting-edge diagnostic services and treatment options in Andrology. His pioneering launches include:1. CASA – Computer Assisted Semen Analysis in accordance with the WHO 5th manual and Indian data2. Computer-Aided Sperm Morphology Assessment (CASMA) with Sperm Functional Integrityassessment (SFI)3. Dr. vasan is real hero for me in 2012 i was undergone through penis implant surgery it was a very successful surgery now i have two kids. WHEN I came to know that i am suffering from erectile dysfunction first i have visited Dr Sudhakar Krishnamurti Andrologist based at Hyderabad he operated me but the surgery was not successful because my implant got infected..i have wasted lots of money in Hyderabad.. but bad luck for me as well as doctor..
more..I took appointment for Dr. Vasan but was initially allowed to meet his junior doctor only who prescribed a list full of test and examination ************* (as understood from other doctors later on). However I gone through all those examination and after that I was allowed to meet Dr. Vasan and that too upon my several request. The experience I had with Dr. Vasan was extremely punk as he did not took any interest in listening to my problems and just said that i have to undergo certain procedure in which they consider themselves as an expert.

I had taken my father to the Ankur Clinic. He prescribed tests without explaining anything. In the test the technician inserted two pipes in the urinary tract. He did a very rough work and caused many incisions in the tract which is causing much more problems now. They should have explained what they are going to do. They just said it is a simple test. After that the doctor prescribed medicine as if he is doing a great favour. The multiple drives to the clinic and the money was not only absolute wastage but very costly as it led to much more future complications.
