He underwent Senior registrar training in ENT/Head and Neck at all the major NHS teaching hospitals in the North East of England(Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Carlisle), and later on at Oxford & Winchester. During this period he acquired specialist training in all major subspecialty niches of ENT in a multidisciplinary environment (Otology/Neuro-otology, Rhinology/Facial Plastic, Voice, Head and Neck Oncology and Paediatric ENT). Ravi passed the intercollegiate exit exam for Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in 2008 and was awarded Canadian Otolaryngology Fellowship to train in Head and Neck / Microvascular surgery from Dalhousie University Canada.At People Tree Hospitals Bangalore he leads a talented group of doctors and other health care professionals to deliver high quality patient centric ENT/Head and Neck care. I was horrified at how roughly he conducted tests on my senior citizen mother who already has vertigo. Also spoke to my mom like she is senile!
Here's a list of everything that went wrong:
- He rushed through the diagnosis,
- Used a load of medical jargon in his explanation to us
- *** *** ***** ** ******** ***** ** *** ***** (wrote 2 days where we had said 1 month),
- Assumed my mother has hypertension (even after we clarified she doesn't, and that she's not on any medication for it either)
- Casually dismissed our questions on whether it was possible the vertigo could be caused by other factors like Covid, and insisted it is migraine-related. My mother has not had a migraine in a long time. He still prescribed migraine prevention medication.
All of it, including the rough handling during the vertigo test, took approx. 15 mins. He couldn't wait to call in the next patient.

Maybe we caught him on a wrong day, but I'm just surprised and angry with the whole experience. Drove 2 hours back and forth to PeopleTree to consult with him only because we had such high expectations from the reviews here.
The doctor's condescending tone and rough handling are unforgiveable. My only hope is my mother doesn't develop any issues after this visit!

Very professional doctor and explained yhie issue in great detail. Felt comfortable meeting him and getting the medical advice. Have 1 issue with Practo not displaying registration charges. Hospital charged 150 for registration apart from 500 fr doctor consultation fees.
