After graduation, Dr. Ramani worked in Thirupathur for 3 years and then joined as the unit Head in OBG in Bharat Gold Mines Hospital in KGF between 1985 to 1995. IN the year 200 she started Poornima Nursing Home and later in 2011 Poornima Hospital, the specialty centre was born. She is credit with about 10,000 Normal Deliveries and around 6000 LSCS. She has also performed between 2000 -3000 Gynaec Surgeries which include but are not limited to Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Ovarian Cystectomy & Ectopic, Tubal Canalization. She is very passionate about the field of Obstetrics and Gunaecology and make it a point to attend all the OBG Conferences, Seminars & CMEs.
