Our 3 year old had a fall while playing and started crying with pain and she was not able to move her right hand. Since it was very late in the evening, we have rushed her to a general physician in nearby hospital. He thoroughly checked and confirmed that it was not fracture. He prescribed pain suppression syrup for two nights. Later that night she was crying with lot of pain and next day in the morning she was able to move her hand a little but not freely and she was complaining of pain (though there was no swelling). We decided to consult Dr. Rajendra Reddy and taken her to Narayana Specialty Hospital in HSR Layout. We explained him the issue and he also confirmed that it was not a fracture. He said she might cry now and asked us not to worry. He was doing something to her hand and he was asking some casual question to my daughter while she was responding shyly. It was less than 30 seconds, he asked my daughter to move her hand and she was able to do that freely. She immediately turned to me said she no longer has pain and she is able to move her freely with a very big smile on her face. And now being a parent you can imagine my inner feeling after seeing her smile. How can someone do it in less than 30 seconds and without making a 3 year old cry? Believe it or not, it was like a magic. He said it was a Joint dislocation and he just corrected it.

He suggested exactly what is needed in spite of the fact that we were ready to do a surgery which could have earned him a lot but still he insisted to take some time and see if surgery is really needed .
