This was a 5 year unique programme and first of its kind course in the country fully funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the Talent Search Scheme (MD-PhD). He developed immense interest in Clinical and teaching Neurology, especially in the field of Neuromuscular disorders and was trained in the same for 5 years.
