Dr. Nitin Anand (PhD)

Dr. Nitin Anand is a clinical psychologist who attained his doctoral degree and clinical training from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India. His doctoral research was on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety Disorders, with a special focus on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He has received fellowships for his work in clinical psychology and during his tenure of doctoral research at NIMHANS. He has published research articles in national as well as in international journals and books. With over 10 years in field of clinical psychology, he has extensive clinical experience in conducting assessments for personality, interpersonal relations, intelligence and psychodiagnostics; and in providing counseling and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. He is engaged in providing counseling and psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, work related stress, work-life balance, parenting issues and interpersonal relationship difficulties. He conducts cognitive behavioural interventions for Depression, Grief, Social Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Health Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Personality Enhancement and relationship issues in adolescent and adults.
