He also is a charter member of the Asian Society of Lifestyle medicine(ASLM) and the Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ISLM). He has a fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine from the Wildwood Hospital and Lifestyle Centre in Georgia, USA and has a certificate from the Pacific Health Education Centre in Bakersfield in California in Public Health Nutrition and allied subjects. He is one of the few physicians in India who is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine and has Diplomate from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Nagendra Rao is an experienced doctor, he has a friendly attitude towards his patients and explains the diagnosis pretty well. Had consulted him for high BP and Increase in heart beat, and was diagnosed with high cholesterol, vitamin d deficiency and mild liver dysfunction. He advised to be on a strict diet for some time and he advised what to do and don’t and prescribed very minimal medicines which were urgent. Now have to follow the same for the month and see how it goes. He blessed me to have a better life now hope i will recover soon.
