History : Mine was arranged marriage through community matrimony. We had 5 months between our first meeting and marriage. We met many times in that period and used to have mobile conversation on daily basis.

Since she didn’t had father her aunt’s family ( mother’s elder sister’s family) were taking care of her family. She had told me that there was a lot of pressure from them to chose her life partner soon. She had already rejected some 10-12 guys. After hearing that I had asked her multiple times whether she is fully fine with alliance or not, she said she is.

May be around 2 months before marriage she started saying things like the way I stand is not proper, the way I make hand moments during conversation with people is not good. So I asked her again whether she has any inferiority complex about me and whether she is ready to marry me or not, she started crying saying why I am asking so.

Before marriage I booked hotel for honeymoon for the week after marriage and informed her the same. She was not happy and asked me why I booked for a week and why we need to go for it so soon. I was bit worried by that time that something is going wrong.

After marriage elders arranged for first night. In that night she told she does not want to have intercourse for some days as she is very afraid of it, I was ok with it. We had foreplay on that day.

Then we left for honeymoon next day. I was excited during travel, but she looked dull. In hotel again we had foreplay and I requested her that lets have intercourse. She didn’t agree for few times and finally agreed. But she had condition that I should use condom and also I should wear it in bathroom and come. Since I didn’t had experience of wearing condom, my erection was gone the time I figured out how to wear it 😂. Once I am back saying erection gone she started saying I have problem and should visit doctor. Even I also didn’t know that erection will go off during stress 😒.

She got her periods next day and we came back from trip after 4 days with bit of tension.

Once we came back she mostly started staying in her mom’s place. In between we tried intercourse one more time and again erection was gone by the time I tried wearing condom. After few days I asked her why she is not staying in my place and she started saying I have problem and I didn’t disclose the same to her before marriage. She told I need to visit doctor. Then I went to her cousin brother who was doctor and he was furious with her. He asked her how do you expect intercourse to be successful in one go. His wife who is also doctor explained her and asked to try for few months and see.

Consultation : After that also she didn’t come back. One day her uncle called me and told lets go for consultation in MediSex foundation. I agreed and both of use went there with her uncle and her co-brother.

Dr. Nachiketha Chebby had consultation with me first and asked about the issue. I explained the details. Then he told me I don’t have a physical problem and co-operation between husband and wife will correct the psychological caused erection issue. He also asked whether I am willing to continue with the alliance, I said yes.

His explanation about how stress affects erection and how to solve was very insightful. He listened to all details of my explanation with great patience.

Then he has consultation with my wife, After that he called me again and told me that she is not ready to continue and suggested me that I should also consider parting away if she is not ready to co-operate.

His point was if she is not ready to help me during my problems then no point in living with that partner. I also got convinced and was got a lot of relief.

Before visiting doctor I was under immense stress thinking about marriage breakdown and facing society with a tag of divorcee. But after an hour of consultation my mind was pretty free and I was normal again.

Once we came back her uncle called my parents and told that I have a problem 🤦‍♂️ and they want compensation . Then my uncle went to Dr.Nachiketha Chebbi and came to know that her parents lied. Then we had meeting and we told them we are ready for divorce but without any compensation. After few rounds of meeting finally they agreed for mutual ( Thank god 😊 ) .

Few months after divorce I am married again and we both are living happily. We are blessed with baby girl 3 months back.

Very early on with the sessions, I understood that it is more as to what I see and what my partner sees. There were no boxes and no boundaries. I learnt that, being kind is not bounding. Rather, having more freedom, strength and security about myself helps me be more kind. This was possible only because Nachiketha made us feel comfortable enough to share our thoughts without hinderance. Every thought and feedback of ours was taken positively and the changes were brought in the following sessions.

Through every session, I felt I was in control of how the sessions go and what result to expect. My feedback and my feelings were given enough importance in every session.

I also had thought I may have to take up sessions for years getting little to no progress. But, with just a span of 1.5 months, we are at a place where we know what the next step needs to be. This especially makes me feel that the client's interest was given the highest priority. Every session was conducted with the interest of making as much progress as possible.

Not just in the session, even through texts, Nachiketha was extremely patient to be support of me through this though times. Everyday, I was looking forward to these sessions, especially in the beginning, Because these sessions addressed my feelings and problems and I felt heard.

I am also extremely thankful to have learnt from Nachiketha what it takes to listen effectively and to confide/confront without triggering.

After consulting a lot of doctors, I only received medical prescriptions but nobody was even open to dig deeper. The 'Sterotyped' medicines only made a temporary effect in me. I was finally diagnosed rightly after the doctor spend some time in my history. I'm glad to have found a right doctor for my problem. I suggest everyone having any Sexual problem to first meet the doctor who can listen to you and understand what has exactly caused you before blindly falling prey for the mass prescription practice. I never needed any medicines at all, yet many doctors just put me on medications without even knowing what exactly my problem was!

I'm now into therapy which will eventually help me to overcome my problem. Overall I'm greatly benefited meeting the Doctor at Medisex Foundation. Got a genuine diagnosis and care. Thank you.
