He graduated from Davengere, and further did his MS (Gen Surgery) from Bangalore, later he completed his DNB (Cardiothoracic Surgery) from Chennai, where he was trained under Dr Solomon Victor, Apart from being a specialist thoracic surgeon, he has special interest in Redo-Cardiac Surgeries And Video- Assisted Thoracic Surgeries (Vats). Beside his clinical excellence he has also been actively involved in academics to keep him abreast of the Clinical Updates. He has presented over 250 papers in many national and international conferences. He is also a fellow of IACTS, and Life Member of ISMICS.
