Dr. Kamini Rao is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Infertility and Fetal Medicine, is a member of the National Advisory Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technology of the MOH & FW and the ICMR, as well as a member of the National Apex Committee for Stem Cell Research and Therapy Instituted by ICMR and DBT. Dr. Kamini Rao is also the chairperson of the International Institute for Training and Research in Reproductive Health.Dr. Kamini Rao was awarded the Padma Shri award by the President of India in 2014. Other Recognitions of her contributions in the field of Medicine include – the Karnataka State Award (Rajyotsava Award), the Vidya Ratan Award, lifetime achievement honours Tribute Award from the Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Hyderabad, the Aryabhatta Award from the Aryabhatta Cultural Organisation, the B.C. Roy District Award from the Shimoga District Unit of the Indian Medical Association and Lifetime Achievement Awards from the KSOGA and the Bangalore Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

She is a very senior and renowned doctor in infertility and gynaec field. Despite that she takes utmost interest and patiently takes all details, history and explains treatment or related aspects very well. She gives sufficient time to her patients, as per our experience. Would definitely recommend her. She currently does not do any procedures , but is supported by able junior (senior enough) doctors and staff. We continued our treatment with Dr Bhavani Nagaraj in her team who was extremely good. We had a successful treatment and are very happy.

Visited For Gynae Problems
I always had and still have excellent time at Milann. The staff is very co-operative and I have always been treated well and have also been attended on time. The team at Milann tries to make sure that patients don't have to wait too long for their appointments. Even the Doctors / Practitioners in the hospital/clinic don't rush and push you out. They carefully listen to you and your queries, provide you relevant solutions and have a very friendly approach towards patients.

We booked an appointment and since it was a first meeting were handed over with a registration form. Filled that up and the wait started .... Since we are a used to long waiting periods at such clinics (warranted or unwarranted is not even a question we can dare to think about) we went prepared. After about 30-45 mins of wait we were called by the junior doctor /assistant to take down the entire history which is a normal practice followed by most of such clinics where the main Doctor based on whose reputation you book the apptmt. in the first place, is supposedly too busy for such mundane acts.
