I visited Dr. for my mother's treatment. She has been suffering from Knee pain since last 2 years. we have visited more than 5 doctors and did X-ray more then 100 times. But, no luck.He took one xray and found the problem in 10 mins. He also explained nicely.He didn't prescribe any medicine but some exercises. my mother is now completely fine now.* Only thing doctor should think about his assistant who makes Xray reports and all. Her behaviour is not good at all. She should be little patient and understand aged people are not smarter like her.

*** *********** ** * **** **** ****** *** suggests the correct strategy for airgery In my case, instead if using screws, he used internal tissues to put my bone back in place and I need not go through another procedure to open the knee and remove screws. I am still consulting him and I might need ACL reconstruction.

I am really thankful to Dr. Laxmikanth who gave me the right advice for my treatment. He is a down-to-earth person and gave very honest advice. Very hard to find such doctors in today's world where most of the doctors are running behind money. God bless Dr Laxmikanth.

Consulted Dr Lakshmikanth for my father's knee replacement. He is a wonderful surgeon and his presence itself gives you confidence. Within 2 months after surgery my father was able to completely come back to a normal life including climbing stairs and walking couple of kilometre distance.

After waiting for almost 1 hr 15 mins , doctor received me and started his inspection. The least I expect from a doctor is to do an impartial thorough checkup where he can park his presumptions at the bay.

Not just he was uninterested *** *** * ****** *** ** ********** *** ***** According to him my pain is caused because of incorrect position of my ulnar nerve but in last 30 years the position of that ‘funny nerve’ has never changed for me. Furthermore it is the same position in the other hand. He wasn’t able to explain why there was an elbow pain on weight bearing, screw tightening action and wrist clenching - which are the basics of examining the entire hand. And after 5 mins of inspection he advised - Surgery! Can you believe it. He didnt give any explanation to the blunt force trauma that I suffered and how it would have resulted in the pain.

By the end of 5 mins of his inspection he was so disinterested that he didnt cater to my other issue of neck pain. His diagnosis was that - it is due to lifestyle and there is nothing that can be done. I would have accepted that diagnosis if he would have been able to explain why this suddenly started only in last few weeks after my accident while the lifestyle has been like that for years.

I am glad that I got myself checked again from another doctor *** ********** ******** *** ********* *** ********* *** ******* ****** *********

Overall - wouldn’t recommend the hospital nor the doctor.

PS - Practo has mentioned the fees to be 500 but they charged me 850

The doctor listens to the problem patiently and suggests only what is essential - no unnecessary list of tests or medicines. The diagnosis is reliable with such a strong experience in the field. Despite this, the doctor is very polite and humble. I underwent a minor knee surgery, and he was very informative and positive throughout (pre, during and post the procedure), with minimal medicines suggested post the procedure.

I have been consulting the doctor since 2013. Based on his vast experience, he always recommended to me a conservative approach to treatment - rest, and medication only if required, and most importantly advising against surgery and considering it to be only am extreme and last resort. This is a welcome and much needed approach, in contrast to many other docs who recommend expensive scans without any basis or are quick to suggest surgical intervention. As a long term patient I am happy to recommend him.

a very calm listener, he gave me enough time to explain my father's condition, we went for his elbow related issues, dr never asked for extra tests MRI, x-ray etc, only few blood tests.

Practo said that their is no appointment available but when we went their very easily Columbia Asia hospital have us immediate appointments and showed to doctor for treatment. Doctor *** **** *** explained us the treatment procedure.

The good doctor was immensely patient and explained my condition very well. He answered all queries and did not suggest over the top treatments or surgery unlike other surgeons I have met.

His solution was simplistic and put me at ease immediately.
