My wife has been under Dr Gowri Murthy’s care for her angle closure glaucoma for several years now. We went to Dr Gowri after a very acute attack when her IOP shot up over 50 and the laser procedure with our previous hospital did not improve matters after multiple sittings. Within half hour in madam’s hands, the episode came under good control and my wife was relieved of the pain as well as blur in her vision. Unfortunately the effect did not hold up and Dr Gowri suggested surgery to save the vision and urged me to do it as soon as possible. It was done at the onset of covid and the excellent support from her and several other consultants, assistants and nursing and support staff of Prabha Eye Clinic during those difficult days is unforgettable.
