His journey in the medical field has been one of continuous learning and growth, allowing him to provide the highest quality care to the young patients and their families.
After completing his MBBS from the reputed Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences in 2016; he worked as a medical officer at the special newborn care unit at Kolar district hospital. This inspired him to take up pediatrics and later neonatology as his future journey. He successfully completed Pediatrics in flying colours from SCB Medical College, a renowned institution affiliated with Utkal University and later pursued Neonatology as his post doctoral fellowship subject from the prestigious Bangalore Baptist Hospital under the esteemed RGUHS University, a period during which he honed his skills in neonatal intensive care. One of the highlights of his expertise lies in utilizing the Bayley Scale of Infant Development, which enhances his ability to comprehensively assess and support infant growth and development.
He is known for his meticulous bedside skills and patient care. DR Bharath’s passion within the field of pediatrics include Newborn Resuscitation, Routine Newborn Care, Preterm Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Neonatal Ventilation, Neonatal Nutrition, Lactation Counseling, Preventive Pediatrics, and Pediatric Outpatient Care. He has always been the front runner in teaching & training. Bharath has been appreciated for his energetic presentation skills . He has had an opportunity to present papers at several conferences including State & International conferences. an active member of professional bodies, including the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF).
He never misses an opportunity to examine a child as he believes each child will teach a valuable lesson. He firmly believes in fostering strong relationships built on trust with both parents and children. Bharath considers it his privilege to look after young babies and support their families.
Language has never been a barrier to his commitment. He is proficient in English, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi, and he is also adept at managing conversations in Tamil and Odia. Open communication is paramount in his approach, aiding families in making well-informed decisions about their child's health and well-being.
Dr Bharath has recently edited FIRST TOUCH a book written for novice mothers on infant care. The book has received wide appreciation. He is actively involved in various community initiatives to spread health awareness like Childhood Nutrition and Child safety and Basic Life Support.
