She is Retina Consultant .Dr. Chaitra Jayadev is currently employed as a senior vitreo-retinal consultant at Narayana Nethralaya Eye Institute. She has served the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology since 2006 in various capacities and is currently the Associate Editor. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of our state journal, the “Journal of Vision Sciences”. Dr. Jayadev also works with the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine and Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics. Dr. Chaitra is an alumnus of Bangalore Medical College, where she completed her MBBS, post graduation and vitreo-retina fellowship besides another fellowship at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. In 2014 where she became the youngest candidate to be elected as Member, Scientific Committee. Dr. Jayadev has over 50 PubMed indexed articles and has contributed chapters in internationally renowned textbooks like Parsons textbook of Ophthalmology and Myron Yanoff’s Text on Advances in Ophthalmology.
