Dr Madhukar needs no introduction. He has thus evolved his core practice revolving around adult psychiatry where he treats conditions such as schizophrenia, bi-polar affective disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression. He humbly submits that he has had good success with his patients during his tenure in India and Europe. Managing a psychiatric facility is also something he takes joy in by coordinating and ensuring proper intervention from clinical psychologists, therapists and management. Dr. B R Madhukar is the person because whom I am living a happy and fulfilled life. For him, the treatment is not about writing prescriptions but about sharing patient's problem. He makes you feel at home. Understand your problems (however trivial it may be) with full concentration. Shares your pain, happiness and most importantly involves your family to help you pass through rough time. Over the years, he has become more of a friend than a doctor me. I have had the worst experince with the Doctor. He does not respect the patients time.
I had an appointment at 5:30 pm on 28/03/16 and i was there on time. He arrived 30 mins late and i was asked to wait for 5 mins and make the payment. He spends some time with other people (i believe they were vendors) and takes them for tea. I had already spent more then an hour waiting for him and he does not have the courtesy to inform about the delay. On enquiring with the reception and asking them to follow up with the doctor, he send a message asking me to wait with no confirmed time.
Please think before you make any appointment. He does not respect the patients time not sure how he manages the staff.

Not at all friendly to the patient and the family of the patient. did not have a positive approach from the beginning. *** *** *** *** ******** ********* ** *** ******** continuously pointed out mistake of stopping the medicine even after acknowledging it several times. did not give any useful advice in the end, ended up being prescribed the same medicines. we had approached him for a second opinion which again bothered him. seems to have low value of money and time

Dr. Madhukar listened to me very patiently, explained a lot of things and was very friendly. My only fear was doctor-patient communication since I was seeing him for the first time but he made all of that a smooth sailing. Plus the staff was very good and cooperating. I highly recommend him.
