I started consulting Dr Asha around 25th week of my first pregnancy. We first met her mostly to get a second opinion on a few concerns, however I feel fortunate to have met her at just the right time. My previous doctor had recommended due date to be a week prior to the actual due date considered internationally. Dr Asha not only clarified my concerns regarding the due date which was a week later than was previously suggested to us, but also recommended us to get a few tests done for checking my gestational diabetes, (given my family history of diabetes), which my previous doc had not deemed important. The reports were an eye opener and happened to highlight that my GI was indeed on the higher side. I was required to cut down on my sugar and high GI intake immediately else it would have affected the baby's health. I followed the diet plan which the doctor suggested and was able to control my sugar levels very quickly.
Eventually when I was closer to the due date, another issue happened. I was adamant to get a normal delivery done, and even though the baby's head had been in position since two weeks I was showing no signs of going into labour. The doctor had started monitoring me every 2-3 days and we were discussing options in case the pains did not occur. When the due date was just 3 days away, we decided to get a memberane sweep done which helps the pains to start artificially. However my baby wasn't in any hurry. The same evening I was advised by the doctor to get admitted so that labour could be induced through medicines. We did the same however even until next morning nothing seemed to be working. It was not advisable to wait any further and on the next afternoon we dedicated to get the baby out through surgery. I was initially sceptical as some doctors create circumstances which might force you to get a c-section done, but Dr Asha was extremely careful of the fact that I was inclined for a normal delivery and did her best to help me with it but the situation did not support that. It was overall a great experience being consulted by Dr Asha. I'm extremely grateful to her for helping me through the pregnancy and getting a healthy baby delivered and would strongly recommend her.

What a wonderful doctor! Very glad to have found Dr. Asha. She takes her time to listen and understand your issue and tries to get to the root of the problem. She also explains the medical conditions and possible reasons behind them in a layman language that we can easily understand.
She made sure that I felt very comfortable to discuss the problem and took prompt steps to get the relevant tests done and collect their results.
Her treatment has given very quick results and brought instant relief.

I went to her by the positive reviews in Practo ,don’t know about others *** * **** *** *** *** ***** **** **********
She recommended torch test for me and when I show her the reports she’s like take opinion from a “specific” physician and then we can start your treatment.
She also recommended AMH test which I did, looking at it she tells, you have PCOD whereas my PCOD report (done one month back)was negative. When told her about it she’s like the lab you got tested is not reliable. At the end she told we have to take these precautions, so that you don’t go through another miscarriage.
One more instance of my second visit:
I forgot to take her previous prescription and only showed her the test reports which she recommended, to which she started yelling and tell how do expect me to consult. To which I politely asked her, how you would have checked my case from scratch, she replies: I would ask for torch test!
I was taken a back, *** ******* ****** ** ******** * ***** *** **** *** ** ****** ********** ******* ***** ******* ****** *** ******** ******* *** ******
I have spent 8k(torch profile, amh&vit d)in her recommended test (from vijaya diagnostic centre’) and 1300 on 2 consultations, it feels like complete wastage of money and time.

I think the doctor is obsessed with infertility.Me along with my husband went to see her to cure my PCOD/PCOS problems but she started treating me with infertility.I did not even knew about the wrong medicines she was giving me till I started to vomit every half n hour.I realized I was going through wrong treatment when I revisited her and asked till when I should take these medicines , she told me to take it for lifetime or at least 6 to 7 years!!!!I immediately visited another doctor where I came to know she was treating me with the medicines which are given to a lady who is not able to conceive. Also she stressed me out by saying again and again that I will not be able to conceive ever.

*** ** *** **** ******* ** ********** We had great experience with Dr. Asha. We went there for consultancy and later found out that my wife needs a surgery. Dr. Asha was very helpful and supportive. She diagnosed the problem pretty quickly and called the surgeon immediately. Dr Asha is not only a regular good doctor but a family friend and doctor for life.
