Dr. Abhishek is a well-trained and qualified rheumatologist. He did his MBBS from the prestigious KIMS, Hubli in the year 2010. He later moved to Delhi to pursue his higher education. During his postgraduate training in Medicine, he got a first hand experience of treating the rheumatological diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Understanding the unmet needs of rheumatology in India, he developed a special interest in towards the subject. He did his DNB Rheumatology training at Indraprastha Apollo hospitals, Delhi. He was also keen on the application of musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK-USG) in the management of rheumatic diseases. Dr. Abhishek was trained in MSK-USG under stalwarts of the field; Dr. Antonio Bouffard and Dr. Fernando Jimenez. Post his DNB Rheumatology, he worked in the widely reputed CMC (Christian Medical college), Vellore. Apart from the various outpatient and inpatient services, he was also involved in training of rheumatology fellows. Furthermore, he has a number of publications in national and international journals.
My mom have been consulting with him since August 2021. He is phenomenal person. He explains exactly what is the issue and how is approaching the cure. I would recommend him for any rheumatology issues. He is a busy doctor so there is always some wait time you have to keep in mind.

Unfortuantely our experience was really bad and we regret going to him.
My father has osteoarthritis, he has knee pain while walking. Other than that everything was fine for him. The doctor diagnosed my father with diabetes, prescribed medicines for the same, changed his existing blood pressure medicine. now it's been 10 days my father feels really weak, has fatigue, tiredness and laziness.. he has deteriorated clinically. He was very fit clinically except for the knee problem. *** ****** **** *** **** ***** ** ******** ******** *** **** **************** **** ****** ***** *** *** *** ******* **** *** ** ******* We all regret going to this doctor. I'm sorry i had high hopes based on the Google and Practo reviews.

It is for almost one and a half months I am consulting him. He discussed and explained the condition thoroughly. The treatment was absolutely good. On both of my sessions, the waiting time was somewhere around 30 minutes to one hour. That time the doctor has gone for ward patient rounds and the crowd was quite huge. All other amenities are good. The doctor is highly recommended.
Consulted for Vasculitis, doctor was very quick to diagnose the underlying auto-immune condition. He is very helpful and friendly, ready to answer all our queries regarding the disease and treatment. Suggests the best treatment considering long-term implications and side effects. Does not suggest any unnecessary tests. Replies to our enquiries over email in these Covid times.
