It was here that his work in Sports medicine and Trauma Surgery was appreciated by the Head of Department and Unit Chief. Dr Abhijit Chavan has worked as a Consultant (in-house) at Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital, Bangalore performing and assisting a vast variety of joint replacement and spine surgeries from 2010 to 2013.He was trained under the watchful eyes of renowned Paediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Hitesh Shah at KMC Manipal in 2015He joined the Narayana Group in June 2013 and since then has been part of the excellent team of orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeons.He is passionate about innovative techniques in orthopaedic surgery and is an expert in Trauma Surgeries including Paediatric Orthopedics
I met with a road accident near ITPL last year where I sustained severe/comminuted fracture of the proximal tibia on my right leg. Dr.Abhijit operated my leg effectively by putting together all the broken pieces and I now have my bone fully formed and set. He made me and my family understand the seriousness and complexity of this fracture prior to the surgery and assured us that he would do his best to put the bones together and also advised on the part I had to play post the surgery in recovering and coming back to normalcy.
The interactions and care provided by Dr.Abhijit right from my emergency admission at NH Whitefield till my discharge and follow up consultations have been amazing. Based on my interactions with him for the past one year within both Inpatient and Outpatient settings, he has been consistently fast, openly communicating and most importantly, reliable and effective. I highly recommend him for any ortho consultations and surgeries within the neighbourhood and in Bangalore.

Dr.abhijith sir is so humble and he treats well ,i have been here after an accident with two broken bones in my left hand i could recover with in a time of 10 days.and i have visited quite few times i like the way he interacts with the patients and I Am a medical student so i learnt a lot of thing from him like how to approach a patient with smile and he is very particular with the treatment materials.

I had consulted Dr. Abhijit for Cervical Spondylosis and shooting pain in arms. He is very good. He heard all my history with patience and explained details about Spondylosis and how it should be addressed. He made me feel comfortable and at ease and provided treatment plan.

Doctor examined my knee and suggested for MRI. After MRI he explained that ACL reconstruction surgery is required. I was asking questions related to surgery and doctor was not friendly and do not have patience. ** ****** ** * *** *** **** I lost my confidence on hospital itself. I do not recommend this doctor.
