I consulted Dr Priyanka at ovum Kalyan Nagar for pregnancy through IVF and delivery. I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart 2 people who changed my life:Srisailesh sir and Priyanka ma'am.When our IVF journey was halfway under Srisailesh sir there were unexpected happenings. My egg retrieval was done and my frozen embryo transfer date was scheduled by srisailesh doctor.One or two days before when we called to ask about one injection they shocked us by telling Srisailesh sir left for some emergency and my procedure will be handled by Dr Priyanka who was completely unknown to us.We were very upset and enquired about doctor's return.But there was no proper answer from hospital side.We decided to cancel our transfer and wait until he returns.Later we were informed that he is abroad and nobody knows when he is coming back.

Since we have to continue our treatment we met Priyanka ma'am.We had several doubts about how she will handle our case.I have vaginismus and many doctors reject me telling am not cooperative.But Priyanka ma'am surprised me.She was very gentle whenever I had internal scans and never spoke anything that will hurt me.Instead she encouraged me telling am doing well.I felt relieved.We thought we missed an expert doctor and she will be not that experienced for ivf.But she turned out to be another expert. She had precise calculations about everything. She did my first embryo transfer and I became pregnant with twins.She never scare us with any facts and figures. Her calm and composed face itself will make us think everything is so easy and there will be no complications. Twins always are more on a risk side.She monitored me very carefully.She kept scans more often to make sure nothing goes wrong. She had a clear vision about when to stop ivf medicines. She clarified all my doubts and was very open to share her concern regarding stitching uterus.She took second opinion and told us it is not required since my cervical length was good.

During starting of pregnancy she told us she may not handle our delivery since she stays far. Even for us ovum was far and it is always better to stay near hospital. She was happy to suggest some of her friends too.We met an expert doctor in one of the top hospitals in Bangalore well known for pregnancy care,which was near to where we stay. When I spoke with her I got to know the value of Priyanka ma'am and how good is she at what she is doing.That doctor just scared me a lot telling I will for sure deliver premature at week 34 and my kids definitely need nicu stay for at least a month and I shall resume all the ivf medicines which were stopped by Priyanka ma'am.

We had another round of discussion with Priyanka ma'am.She told a planned c section is the best option and she hope i can hold upto 37th week.She was ready to continue with us also and reassured us saying night emergencies will be handled by other doctors and that we all work together as a team.Though a little far for us we couldn't leave her expertise.As she planned my delivery was smooth with no complications as she predicted.During my c section she kept me confident and my babies did not stay in nicu for long,just 4 hours for observation.My pregnancy became smooth only because of her.I can definitely recommend her for anybody who are in search of an expert.Thank you so much ma'am.You turned out to be our lucky charm. We have chosen the hospital(Ovum Hospital, Kalyan Nagar) with my friend’s reference for our 2nd baby consultation and delivery. After going through all the doctor’s profiles, we decided to go with Dr. Swetha Vinjamuri. In fact, it was my wife’s preference. However, we were not sure if we had taken the right decision as we never met her before. After the first consultation, we felt really comfortable and confident. The doctor is very friendly and approachable. We are basically from Tamilnadu and we preferred a Tamil speaking doctor. She helped us feel comfortable even in that aspect. The periodic consultation and diagnosis went very well based on her guidance. The baby’s growth and mother’s health condition were well monitored. Talking about the baby’s delivery, considering the baby's health condition, it’s decided that we need to do the delivery by C-Section. Initially we planned to do the delivery in Week-38. Everything planned for surgery as required. On the day of surgery, I was confused with the questions… is it too early? Will there be any health issues for the baby? etc., I decided not to do it now. Let me wait for another week. With hesitation, I messaged her saying we don’t want to go for surgery today. I was worried if she would get angry at me for changing the plan at the last moment. But, she called me and politely said that there is nothing to worry about, take your time to decide. She was very cool and professional in handling last minute change. I was really surprised and very much thankful to her. Later, we planned the surgery considering the auspicious day and all that. The baby delivery process went very well as planned. My wife was very comfortable in the labour room. She entered the operation theatre with a smile😊 and came out with more smile😊😊😊. I was the one sitting outside with a tense mind! We are blessed with a cute baby girl!!!

I would like to mention about the room booking also. We are eligible for the executive room only for the insurance that I hold. But, the hospital agreed to upgrade to a Premium room which is almost the same as the executive room, not much difference. But, I requested a Deluxe room which is a much bigger room. But, the admin team said there are no Deluxe rooms available. But, the day I came for admission, we were allotted the Deluxe room because of Dr’s recommendation. I am thankful even for that.

I am the kind of a person who asks more questions. She clarified all my doubts patiently. Truly professional! Tons of thanks to Dr. Swetha and the hospital for the support throughout the journey!!!

Highly Recommend the Doctor. We started consulting Dr. Harini from our Second Trimester and had a very good experience. Happy to have choosen Dr Harini as our consultant. My wife is blessed with a healthy baby girl (Our Second Princess). Certain Good traits that, we would like to share:1. Very down to earth person (She is a kid nature, there is absolutely no attitude, such a sweet person), Always with a smile on her face when we enter her room. 2. She shared her mobile number at the first visit itself. We are very happy with the way she answered the calls or a WhatsApp message. She is ready to answer your call anytime. Just in case she is busy or missed your call (which rarely happens), she will give you a call back immediately. At some point she even answered the call during the sleep. 3. Depending on the BMI of the patient, doctor focuses more on Diet. With her guidance, my wife was able to maintain a healthy pregnancy weight gain. With each visit, she used to spend a good portion of time in advising what diet needs to be followed. 4. A Good Listener, she patiently hears all the questions that you have and gives reply after you have completed asking your questions (She does not interrupt you in between). 5. With her gesture and soft spoken nature, you can ask her all your doubts. she is ready to reply to all of them. She spends a good amount of the consultation time with each patient. There is absolutely no hurry. 6. The care taken by the doctor during the C-Section Procedure was great. Again not in a hurry, she carefully does the procedure. We did not have any issues in the care provided by the doctor. Thank you Doctor for the care. With that care, my wife was able to walk the next day of C-Section.Thank you Doctor for everything.
