Fortis Hospital Admission Process
The front desk of the hospital will help you complete the registration form and other formalities. Apart from this, the front desk will generate patient’s UHID card and will maintain the patient’s medical records. At the time of admission, a form needs to be filled, and a certain sum is to be paid as advance payment. Other than this, the front desk will draw out an estimate of your stay at the hospital and give you a selection of rooms for your stay at Fortis.
Once the treatment is complete, the nurse will guide the patients through the discharge process. A bill for discharge will be generated, and the patient will be expected to clear all of their dues through cash or debit/credit card. Furthermore, belongings such as urinal pans, bedpans, etc. will also be handed over at this time. Any advances made during the time of admission will be adjusted completely.
Guidelines for visitors
All visitors are required to visit patients only during visiting hours.
The visitors are to sanitize their hands before the visit.
Apart from this, the visitors will be required to show and wear passes when they visit.
Also, depending on the patient’s conditions, visitors may be restricted.
