Mending Beliefs by Psychologist Sakshi Agarwal

Dr. Sakshi has been my therapist for nearly six months now. I approached her to help address cyclical depression, anger management, and unhappiness with my living conditions which greatly affected my relationship with my partner. She is very easy person to talk to, and creates an atmosphere of understanding and empathy. Over time, she has helped identify key causes of my stress and guided me on the ways to address them. I find that in my day-to-day life, I’m not able to prevent emotional spirals much better than I used to, and that is largely thanks to Dr. Sakshi’s influence. I thank her for the work that she’s been doing with me and would recommend her for anyone seeking therapy.

Dr.Sakshi is patient enough to listen to the problem. She is a warm person and her very positive attitude changes the perspective. The sessions are beneficial as they bring out the true self of us when it gets cluttered due to external situations or stress. She gives exercises called emotional handouts which are very helpful in understanding the underlying emotion and addressing our fears. She is a very welcoming and kind person. Strongly recommend her.

She encourages us to keep up with good habits like Morning walks, Excercise regime, listening to music, outdoor games, and so on, especially those which help us create positive energy. I consulted her to get rid of negative and unproductive thought patterns. I still see such patterns but now I learned that I should just observe and acknowledge them and change my response towards them. I am more relaxed and feel far better now. Thanks to Sakshi.

I have been in therapy with many counsellors and can say confidently that she helped me to get better and independent in a very little time. I was diagnosed with MDD and had several anxiety attacks. She was the first therapist who helped me get to normal life with a major reduction in my meds in just 1.5 months. I love how she gives actual logic behind my fears so I can cope with them and the book references/homework that help address underlying emotions and fears.

She helped me understand the gaps in thought processes, helped me declutter the messy entangled thoughts, and gave me courage, stronger self-esteem, fewer fears, and more smiles. The therapist is punctual, she joined the session right on time. Despite my reluctance to open up to a stranger about my family problem, she was able make me feel relaxed with her icebreaking random discussions.

Once into the session, she was patient and listened to my details without much interruption except for a few poking here and there to probe more information.

Though its too early to say, but the session was quite helpful and i'm already able to see things in a better light and from a different perspective.

I was experiencing extreme depression given my career and family problems. There was no support system in the family and Dr. Sakshi helped me get through that really difficult phase of my life. To be able to share one's anxiety and feeling of constant sadness without being judged made me accept myself the way I am and all the credit goes to Dr. Sakshi for helping me regain my normalcy. Though she is the one who is all ears for alternate approaches to things and life but she makes sure that each solution is individual as every one is not sailing in the same boat and every problem is different and that's what I loved about her.

I met Sakshi at a most difficult phase of my life when everything was falling apart and I was suffering from severe anxiety. Her processes and counselling helped me navigate the difficult waters to a large extent. Its a process, and I hope to overcome my issues with her.

I came to Ms Sakshi with severe anxiety and depression from trauma. Ms. Sakshi gave me a safe space to open up about my thoughts and confused feelings. She took the time to understand my history, and briefly explained what I could expect from the sessions. She provided me with the means to understand and address my core issues, while also validating my experiences and emotions. I've met her twice so far and I'm extremely happy with the progress we are making. She has been a wonderful and patient listener who explains pain points & areas of concerns very well. I'm very excited to see how she could help me turn things around.PS: A huge shout out to Mr. Muffin, Sakshi's absolutely adorable inhouse assistant Labrador who made opening up so much easier for me 😊 He's an absolute sweetheart and definitely a positive trigger in my journey of change with Sakshi.

Dr. Sakshi really made me feel comfortable to open up to her on the very first session. I had a lot to get off my chest and ended up getting very emotional during, and she patiently heard me out and was very understanding. Even though our session went a little over-time, she was very sweet about it, and gave me some useful insights into what I was going through, and suggested some really helpful practical tips. I will be visiting her for a follow up, but I left the first session already feeling slightly better.

Too early to put in an evaluation. First session so it was mostly her listening to me. Felt like she was asking the right questions to understand my history. She's was very empathetic when listening to me. Feels like she'd able to understand and provide valuable insights.

My only concern was that she was distracted by her phone quit a bit - looking at all incoming notifications and also answering calls related to taking new patients which ran for minutes. Doing this in between conversations broke my conversation flow completely more than once. Previously my experience with therapists had been them only picking up calls if it was from a risky(suicidal) client and them apologising for having to take the call.
