We were very pleased with Rupa madam for her elaborate explaination of post operative care to be followed . We thank the Doctor & his staff for the successful procedure .

It’s my third visit (2009 1st visit) I like doctor patients and explanation of the problem. Provided adequate treatment *** ** *********** *************** I really happy with the services of the Doctor and from the hospital.

I have been suffering from allergical conjunctivitis since 2006. I tryed out a bunch of doctors but to no avail.

Finally, I went to Dr. Sharada Rao in Januray 2010. By this time, the situation was pretty bad. I had constant itching and redness in my eyes and I had trouble concentrating on my studies. She recommended a bunch of different eyedrops, lubricants, protective glasses and the situation has been much better since, although it has been slow progress, due to my initial negligence.

Now, I have less frequent itching, but the redness still remains. I'll probably share my progress if it is possible to edit feedbacks.

For my particular case, the root cause for the allergy seems to be exposure to pollen and pollution. So wearing sunglasses that cover the entire eye (including the sides) has been critical, in addition to following the medications.

Workflow: The hospital and staff are very organized, polite and professional. They ensure that everything goes smoothly. The clinic has a nice ambience about it as well. Also, they have eye drops in-house so you don't have to waste time searching for arcane medicines. The best part is that I don't have to book an appointment and wait for hours on end. I just walk in during weeknights when the hospital is less crowded and I immediately get attended to.

What could be better?

As usual, I wish our hospitals were more tech savvy and provided reminders for taking medications and appointments. Also, all the metrics and medications administered is an unstructured format in a blank sheet of paper. I keep a copy and I don't think the hospital maintains a copy for analysis. So the people doing drug discovery and stuff cannot easily access my data for research purposes. As a patient, I can't see reviews of various medicines but I can read movie reviews all day long on IMDB.

Usually I get 4 checks - ocular pressure, vision, optic nerves and one for Allergic conjunctivitis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allergic_conjunctivitis#Giant_papillary_conjunctivitis). I wish this data is stored and I could visualize my progress better.

Obviously, it's unfair on doctors to become data nerds. Well, I hope Practo builds these technologies and marry technology and healthcare.
