We contacted Ms. Diya & The Mind Research Foundation via a search on the Practo app for "Grief Counseling". We expected that there would be many people in pursuit of support to manage various emotions due to the many losses since the COVID started in 2020, but we did not expect that we ourselves would experience such huge effects of the deaths of our elder generation over the course of the past twenty-four months or so.

Ms. Diya provided an open-ended approach so that all of the feelings, beliefs and ongoing thoughts through the grief process could be fully explored. Also, Ms. Diya provided tangible techniques that could be utilized on a daily basis to manage the emotional effects of the grieving process. Moreover, Ms. Diya understood that expression of grief was the greatest need and it was wonderful to be in a closed environment during office hours to express those feelings without any fear that such expression would have any negative consequence. Ms. Diya ensured that privacy was guaranteed in every visit and this privacy reinforced the positive consequences that we needed to continue to grow.

We look forward to visiting Ms. Diya again very soon. Since the work/office schedules have resumed, it has been difficult to coordinate an appropriate timing, but certainly, we appreciate very much the counseling opportunity that Ms. Diya afforded us. Had it not been for her gifting of coping strategies and willingness to allow an open-ended expression of grief during office hours, perhaps we would not be ready and able to return to office now.

We appreciate very much the professionalism and supportive sincerity given to us by Ms. Diya and we look forward to visiting her again once schedules permit. Thanks very much to Ms. Diya and The Mind Research Foundation for helping us through our COVID grief. You have given to us a helping hand during a critical time of emotional need.

It has been a pleasure having consulted Ms.Sanyuktaa. Her patience and empathy were striking throughout our sessions and she went above and beyond to make sure I understood my problems from a broader view. I feel I have become a more positive and hopeful person, understanding my strengths and shortcomings and how to work over my past which felt distant to me yet had a powerful presence in my present. It takes time to come out of emotionally draining situations, especially if you're working, and having someone like her listen, really helps navigate through life. I highly recommend her if one is looking for a real change.

I'm glad I chose this place. My therapist, Ms. Shruthi, was amazing and patient with all of my issues. She not only helped me gain confidence, but she also taught me how to deal with problems. I liked how, instead of telling me the solution, she helped me understand what I needed and what would be the best solution.

She has helped me understand myself and my behaviors better. When I first arrived, I had no idea what issues were causing me to act in this way. She is the reason I have improved so much since then. Highly recommend

This is my first time in therapy and Samyukta has been absolutely wonderful. I went to session specifically for stress management and counseling on certain family issues. She is a patient & kind listener who creates a genuine safe space for you to speak your mind freely. My favourite aspect of sessions were questions she asked; allowing me to self introspect on my actions & surrounding environment. She also provided great practical advice about changes I can make to my daily interactions & for handling difficult situations. However, we arrived at these solutions together; with her prompting me to understand the consequences of my current behaviour. As a result, it definitely felt as if I was learning a life skill that I could put into practice later on my own. I would highly recommend her. She has done a great job of easing me into the concept of therapy and I will always be grateful for it.
