Went to Dr. Wasim Akthar for braces consultation. He said get x-ray (Rs. 600) and submit Rs. 10,000 (out of total cost of Rs. 35,000 for the full procedure) and we can start the process. I got the x-ray and submitted Rs. 10,000, and they took my dental impression using dental mould ****************************************************************** *costs around 2500 and reusable for every patient). Also told me that braces will start almost one month later, and come tomorrow so he can prescribe some medicines to prepare my mouth for the process.
When i came home, some circumstances changed so i wanted to stop the process. Next day i went and asked them to stop process and cut whatever their expenses were and give the remaining out of the Rs. 10,000 submitted. He said we already spent Rs. 15,000 on the process, and you have to give Rs. 5,000 more. (in just one day, he said they spent Rs. 15,000 already, and showed me the dental mould which costs Rs 2500 and is reusable). And finally just denied me to give any refund.
