In a subsequent session, a cap was placed on my tooth. As my job involved offshore drilling, I had to return to work one week later. While at my job, I began to feel numbness in my lower lip. Nevertheless, I managed to consult a dentist in Australia who recommended tooth extraction. Trusting his expertise, I followed his recommendation and did not opt for extraction. However, even after taking the prescribed medication, the swelling persisted, although it somewhat reduced with heavy antibiotic use.
