Aggressive nature and rage issues
I am facing severe rage issues and I tend to get aggressive at times. In such instance, I slapped my roommate leading to pain in her jaw for couple of days. I am a civil service aspirant and am dealing with lot of things. I am concerned about my studies so I tend to get cranky at times. But getting aggressive and violent are the things that concerns me the most. Due to my behaviour I am hurting people that are close to me.

Hi, Glad that you are adopting an objective view to your behaviour. As you have already mentioned, due to multitasking, you may facing a lot of stress giving rise to these mood changes. However, if they are out of proportion and severe in intensity along with other symptoms like diminished need for sleep, excessive talking or pressured speech, racing thoughts and easy distractibility; then it is recommended to get help. Depending on the severity of the symptoms, you may need counselling and/or medications. You may approach a counselling psychologist for these complaints. In case, there is not much response over 3 months of counselling or if the symptoms increase, you may consider starting temporary medications from a psychiatrist (Allopathy / Homoeoapthy). Homoeopathy medicines are safe i.e without side effects, treat the disease from the root cause thereby giving long term relieef. For any further queries, you may contact me via Practo online portal.
Next Steps
It is advisable to approach a counselling psychologist for further evaluation and guidance.
